Visiting Family

Our cousins from Florida are visiting.
So, today we went to a REALLY BIG smorgasboard for lunch. Then we went to the REALLY BIG gift shop at the place and had fun there (who knew you could have fun in a gift shop?!) But we did...

Then we came home and they came over too!
We had a great time. My brothers, our 2 second cousins, and I went on a LONG walk...
it was only long because whenever Mikey would start going down a hill on his skateboard, the rest of us would turn around and go the other way, it was fun.
When we got back to the house (finally) we all chatted for a little bit.

But they had to leave soon after that, though... before they could we HAD to get pictures with them.
So EVERYONE pulled out their camera's and we got pictures of everybody.

What an awsome day!

I'll have to show you some pictures soon!

Til Later,
Chelsea

We Remember Sally

You've seen many pictures of Chloe and Kimmy, our dogs that we got last year, but I don't think you know about Sally yet, do you? Sally was our loving, wonderful, all around great dog! She was the one we had before Kimmy and Chloe. Our whole family loved her SO much. She was one of those 1# dogs that rarely come around (though, I have to say Chloe's getting there) but, Chloe hasn't reached the Sally level yet.
Sally was a Siberian Husky, and she was adorable. We got her one day a LONG time ago when we were going to pick up my brother from our grandparents house when we stopped at "Pet Smart" to get cat food, as we walked through the door there were a TON of dogs and I saw many I liked but we saw Sally and asked if we could take her out on a walk (I was little so I don't remember all the details) but anyway we loved her the day we met her and we never even got the cat food, just Sally. As you can imagine my brother Mikey was very surprised that day when we showed up with a dog.
(And he hadn't been happy that day because he had gone to McDonald's and the people gave him a girls toy or something like that). SO that day we were very happy that day and we were most of the time we had her she was a wonderful dog!

These pictures all show her tied even though she really lived inside with us...if she was out, though, she had to be tied because she loved to run away for a few days!

The Holidays

Our Holidays were great! how about yours? On Christmas We all enjoyed breakfast together at our house with the grandma's. Then we opened presents, I really liked seeing people get the gifts that I gave them! Especially the recipe box I gave my grandma, I Painted it and put "Grandma's recipes" on the front of it. I also loved the things I got, a bowling ball, a new fuzzy blanket that my other Grandma made me (now that I have it, it's hard to sleep without it!), I also loved the stickers for my wall that I got, they say stuff like "peace" and "love" and there are flower stickers too, I like them because I get really tired of how my room looks a lot and then I want to change it, and I can take the stickers off and put them somewhere else, it's really fun.

On New Year's Eve my aunt and uncle were here, and we went to "Longwood Gardens" A.K.A a big garden place, with lots of different flowers and trees. It was pretty, and fun...but it would've been more pretty and fun if it were say, about...40 degrees warmer, it was soooooo cold!

When we got home a bunch of our "group" went downstairs to watch "Pirates of the Carribian 3" NOT ME! I stayed upstairs with my mom, and my Grandma's, we watched the big ball drop...We still don't get why people are so nuts over New Years! It's nice and all but why do people get the big "2008" glasses and stuff? I just don't get it, but I like staying up till 12:00.

On New Years Eve day we opened presents (again) with My aunt and uncle because they weren't here for Christmas. I got a silly but awsome hat, an art kit which I've been enjoying alot! I can draw so much better now! I also got pretty earrings.

vacation

We just went on vacation to the mountains where we stayed at a cabin that our family likes to go to. We had bunches of fun together! We went on a really long walk (which made us all including the dogs, very tired) and we went shopping, we went to really neat place and launched model rockets and looked at stars after that, we (My brother and I) played in the creek that's in the back of the cabin, and my brothers and I chopped wood and my brother built a fire. I had a great time and I can't wait to go back (though, I don't know when that is)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One day there while I was playing in the creek (with our chihuahua, Chloe) I noticed that
her paws were really dirty so I said,
"Your paws are SO dirty!"
But when I looked over I saw my brother looking at the dog and agreeing with me (or something like that) "here let me fix that" said my brother so he picked up Chloe and walked to the deep part of the creek, so I followed him, "okay Chloe one, two, Three--" he said
waving Chloe over the the water each time he said a number.. which of course meant he was going to throw her in. "WAIT!" I said "let me clean her off it's not like she needs to be dunked, it's just her paws!"
"okay but you have to drop her in" said my brother
"fine" I said. Of course I didn't drop Chloe in so after I handed her back to my brother
to take her and put her in a towel I turned around to head back to where I was playing in the creek I heard a huge "S-P-L-A-S-H" I turned around to see a very wet little chihuahua who could thankfully swim, and said "poor little baby" and well, I said that about a hundred times from there so you get the idea of how mad I was at my brother.
sighned,
Chelsea K.
