Happy new year!!!

Wow. simply wow.
I can't believe that it is New Years Eve already! Didn't we JUST have New Years?
And yet here we are again. It amazes me...
But it has been a great year, as far as I'm concerned.

Let's review.

LAST new years eve, I went to Longwood Gardens for the first time. Since, our family has gone back many times, enjoying every visit.

And who could forget the adorable Chloe-in-a-bag?
Too cute!

I enjoyed many riding lessons with Lindsay (from Creekside Cottage)
Thanks Lindsay!

This year I had lots of fun with the camera, I love doing photography!

I also really love to make chocolates, bake, and cook.

I won't forget some of the experiences that I've had this year... such as a summer job, and baby sitting for friends.

All of the fun (and nerves) of the Thanksgiving concert for homeschool group will not be forgotten either.

A great and tasty Thanksgiving.

Fun times with silly friends were around this year, and I hope they'll be back next year.

Our family relaxed and enjoyed eachother on our trip to the mountains.

And of course a wonderful Christmas was spent cozy at home with family.

And to think, these are only SOME of the things that this year brought.
so long 2008, it's been fun.
Now get ready for 2009!
here we go!

I've been tagged!!!

My mom tagged me with this...thing!
Alright, I have to

*Go to the sixth folder in "my pictures"
*Find the sixth picture in the sixth folder
*Pray that I remember what it is about(?)
*Blog about it
*Tag six people to do this too!

Here it goes...
I found Chloe!

This is simple...
Of course, you all know that this is my "puppy" who always seems to be sleeping.
That's what she's doing here! You have no idea how many picture's we have of this lil' puppy sleeping. It seems to be what she does best.
Sorry, no big story about this one... just a sleepy pup.

I really have no idea who to tag...
so if you'd like to do this, go ahead, and enjoy!

Cooking, Baking, & eating!

That's what I did yesterday. The first thing after I woke up we went to set up at the church for last night's "Ladies Tea" which was very fun! We went looking for a tree to set up at the church, although it wasn't until later that my mom and Mikey found one. Oh, it was pretty!
Then after we had set up we went home and I cooked and I baked, I was making things for the tea. I love to bake and cook. First I made fudge.

It was fun to make!
Then I made sausage balls with cheese in them. yummy.
It was hard work to make them though!
first I had to mush all the ingredients together. Yeah, I know it seems like it would be gross to do it with your hands but I don't mind it.

After everything was very well mixed I rolled the sausage into little sausage meat balls.

That picture only shows about half of the amount I made.
I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the things I made when they were done, I know that would have been MUCH more appetizing!
But I was busy enjoying the tea and little snacks... I'm very glad other people made yummy treats too, even though I love to cook, I couldn't do that much! At least not NOW I couldn't...

Fun Times!!!

My friend spent the night on Tuesday. I really enjoyed it... what's funny though, is that we cleaned, and cooked, and everything! That's not what I would think of as a normal sleepover!!!
Like I said, we made dinner Tuesday night.

Me made hamburger barbecue.

We made broccoli.

and we made onion rings.
I have no idea why, but my brothers were very unappreciative for it.... but the next day my brother Jonathan admitted that our meal was good, and that he has to make fun of us, because he's... my brother!!! arg.

Later on we watched the movie "Horton Hears a Who" and knitted. I'd just bought the movie earlier in the day.

The next day we did school and then messed around some, we watched "Kung Fu Panda"
which has come to be one of my favorite movies! My brother suggested we play "Mario Kart Wii" so we did that... Haha! I beat my brother!

So, at least I know that I had a good time!

I love to knit!!!

You have to see what I've been working on this week!!!
Yesterday I went to the store and got two new pairs of knitting needles, I got a size 15, and a circular one. The size 15 is big, I love it!

Here is a scarf that I am making for "the mitten tree" that is a group that gives out scarves, hats, mittens, and gloves to kids who need them.

It's not done yet, but it's getting there.

And just last night I started working on a tiny little blankee... or something. I have no idea what it is yet but I think it will be a blankee.
here it is.

I love it!
Knitting is SO great!
